July 4th, 2025 A Dubuque Deputy who was injured in a shooting on Tuesday, July 1st, is now recovering at home following a traffic stop incident. The individual who was shot and killed at the scene has not yet been identified. The Iowa Division of Investigations is actively looking into the case, and further updates will be provided in the coming days.

On Friday, July 4, 2025, the Dubuque airshow featured an impressive lineup, including the F-35B fighter jet and the iconic P-51 Mustang, producing a thrilling auditory spectacle that echoed throughout the city.
