Suspicious Mail Received By Wisconsin Legislators

Authorities are investigating after Wisconsin 2nd District Congressman Mark Pocan’s Madison office received a suspicious piece of mail yesterday. Staff members flagged the unopened envelope, which closely resembled other questionable packages sent to offices across the country.

Hazmat crews responded to the scene and initial testing came back negative for hazardous materials. Wisconsin’s two U.S. senators also confirming their Milwaukee offices received suspicious mail containing unknown substances yesterday.
