Carnegie-Stout Public Library marks Family Literacy Month with reading-photo contest

According to QueenB Radio's WGLR, the Carnegie-Stout Public Library in Dubuque is celebrating National Family Literacy Month by inviting families to submit a photo showing their favorite way to read for a chance to win a River Lights gift card and a book-themed gift basket. From curling up under a blanket with a good book to reading graphic novels on the couch, reading outside in the sunshine or listening to audiobooks in the car, every reading moment counts, the library says. Families can email a photo to [email protected] by November 30, and submitted photos may be featured on the library's social media pages.
