The 72nd Annual Dubuque County Fair is set to take place from July 22-27, 2025, at 14569 Old Highway Road, Dubuque, IA. This event promises a lively celebration full of family-friendly entertainment, exciting activities, and mouth-watering food.

In an exciting twist for this year, the fair will feature all performances and grounds events free of charge with the purchase of a gate admission ticket. Key highlights include:
• Musical Performances: The entertainment kicks off on Tuesday at 8 PM with American Pride: Tribute to the Statler Brothers, followed by Tyler Richton and the High Bank Boys and Toby Keith Tribute: The American Ride on Thursday. The week continues with dynamic performances from Cory Farley and the rock band Vicebox, showcasing local Iowa talent.
• Family-Friendly Attractions: Kids will love The Amazing Bubble Factory with its giant bubbles. New this year are The Steamers Thrill Show featuring acrobats, a captivating Special Head magic act, and a unique Tiger Encounter with stunning animals.
• Traditional Favorites: Experience Wednesday Night Racing featuring Pro Late Models and IMCA Modifieds. Other exciting events include the Fantasy Truck and Tractor Pull on Friday, the ECIPA Truck and Tractor Pull on Saturday, and the Demo Derby and Julien Dubuque Classic stock car races on Sunday.
Admission Prices
• Tuesday, July 22: Enjoy Free Admission Day, sponsored by Tegeler Body & Frame Wrecker & Crane, the ideal day to visit the fair without any entry charges.
• Wednesday-Sunday: Adult tickets (12 and older) are $12, while children aged 11 and under can attend free.
• Discounts: Purchase a bundle of five admission tickets for the price of four ($45 at the fair office, $50 at Theisen’s locations in Dubuque or Dyersville from June 1–July 22, 2025). Veterans and active-duty military members can buy tickets for just $7 with a military ID before July 18.
• Parking: General parking is complimentary with a shuttle service to the gates; preferred parking is available for $10 per day.

• The Dubuque County Fair Association will operate an economical food stand offering $6 turkey and dressing sandwiches, sloppy joes, hot dogs, freeze pops, and more, open daily from 10:30 AM to 9 PM.
