The Dubuque Parks and Recreation Department will commence resurfacing the pickleball courts located at Veterans Memorial Park, situated at [insert exact address here]. The courts will be closed for this essential work from July 14 to July 24.
In the meantime, players can utilize other pickleball courts available at Flora Park (subject to availability due to recreation programs) and Eagle Point Park, where pickleball lanes are marked on three tennis courts.
“We appreciate the community’s understanding as we undertake this improvement project at the Veterans Park courts,” stated Stephen Fehsal, the Interim Parks and Recreation Director for the City of Dubuque. “We encourage regular players from Vets Park to explore alternative locations during this closure.”
