DUBUQUE, IOWA — The countdown has begun! With only nine days remaining, the Dubuque County Fair is gearing up to celebrate the community with six days of family fun and agricultural exhibits. The 72nd Annual Dubuque County Fair will take place from Tuesday, July 22, to Sunday, July 27, 2025, at the Dubuque County Fairgrounds.
Organized by the Dubuque County Farm Bureau, this year’s fair promises to offer a variety of attractions for everyone. From the enticing aroma of funnel cakes to the thrilling sounds of engines, the event is anticipated to be one of the summer’s main highlights.
Attendees can look forward to an action-packed schedule featuring:
- Free Grandstand Entertainment: Each evening, guests will enjoy exhilarating performances at no extra fee beyond gate admission, including the exciting Truck & Tractor Pulls on Friday and Saturday nights, alongside a Demolition Derby and Classic Stock Car Races on Sunday.
- Live Music: The Festival Garden will present live musical acts every night, creating a wonderful atmosphere for relaxation and enjoyment.
- Exciting Attractions: A traditional carnival will feature rides for all ages, the thrilling Steamer’s Thrill Show, and a mesmerizing magic performance by Special Head the Flying Magician.
- Family-Friendly Activities: Children will be excited by the Amazing Bubble Factory, the captivating Tiger Encounter, and interactive DNR Wildlife Presentations. Fair staples such as the Pallet Maze, Kiddie Car Show, and a showcase of 4-H and FFA livestock will also be available.
