Grant County Crash

On 3/16/2022 at 5:22 PM, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a one-vehicle crash off Highway 61 north of Rodgers Rd in the North Lancaster Township.
Nicholas Knoble, 33 of Gays Mills, was operating his Red 1998 Honda Accord in the north bound lane. Knoble attempted to pass an unknown black pickup truck in a no passing zone. The unknown truck allegedly sped up and swerved at Knoble’s vehicle. Knoble lost control of his vehicle and traveled back into the north bound lane. Knoble then left the roadway and his vehicle became stuck in a field. The vehicle sustained heavy disabling damage as a result of the crash. Knoble sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash and refused transport by EMS. Doans Towing of Fennimore removed the vehicle from the scene.

Fennimore EMS and Stitzer Fire Department assisted the Grant County Sheriff’s Office. Knoble was cited for passing in a no-passing zone, and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
