On 3/30/31 at 10:32 PM, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office responded to a one vehicle crash involving a Semi tractor and trailer.

Jason Beckman, age 47 of Lake View, Iowa, was operating his fully loaded semi southbound on Highway 151 near Church Road. Beckman’s rig blew a tire, pulling the semi onto the shoulder and eventually the ditch line. Beckman’s semi then struck the guard rail, left the roadway, and traveled down a steep embankment before coming to a rest where the trailer turned on its side.
Beckman’s truck and trailer, as well as the guardrail and the road shoulder, sustained heavy damage as a result of the crash. Dickeyville EMS transported Beckman for minor injuries.

The Grant County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Dickeyville EMS, Dickeyville Fire Department, Cuba City EMS, Cuba City Fire Department, Plateville Fire Department, the Grant County Highway Department, and Guys Truck and Tractor Service of Kieler, Wisconsin.
