**GRANT COUNTY, WI – On June 6, 2025, at approximately 8:30 p.m., the Grant County Sheriff’s Office responded to a tragic single-vehicle motorcycle accident at the intersection of CTH C and CTH X in Wyalusing Township.**

The preliminary investigation indicated that Ryan Phillips, a 43-year-old resident of Peosta, IA, was operating his 2015 Harley Davidson motorcycle southbound on CTH C when he failed to yield at the stop sign at CTH X. Phillips continued through the intersection, struck a curb on the southern edge of CTH X, which resulted in him being thrown from his motorcycle.

Emergency personnel from Bagley First Responders and West Grant EMS were dispatched to the scene and subsequently transported Phillips to Crossing Rivers Hospital in Prairie Du Chien, where he was declared deceased. His motorcycle sustained significant damage and was removed from the scene by Doan’s Towing.

Other agencies that assisted included West Grant EMS, Bagley First Responders, and the Bloomington Fire Department. The investigation into the incident is still ongoing, led by the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.
