Single-Vehicle Rollover Accident Leaves Driver Injured in North Lancaster

**LANCASTER, WI – On May 30, 2025, around 2:51 p.m., the Grant County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single-vehicle rollover incident at 7254 Govier Rd. within the Township of North Lancaster. Michael Tillotson, a 51-year-old resident of Bagley, was operating a 2005 Dodge Dakota traveling north when he failed to manage a curve, veered off the roadway, collided with a row of round bales, and subsequently rolled over, coming to a stop on its roof atop the bales.**

**Tillotson suffered injuries in the crash and was initially taken to Grant Regional Health Center by emergency medical services in Lancaster. He was later airlifted to UW Health in Madison by Iowa AirCare. The severely damaged vehicle was removed from the scene by Arrow Towing.**

**Charges were filed against Tillotson for Operating While Intoxicated (2nd Offense), Failure to Maintain Control, and Operating While Suspended. The incident was supported by personnel from Lancaster Fire, Lancaster EMS, and Arrow Towing.**

**As stipulated by Wisconsin Statute §950.04, the identities of victims and witnesses remain confidential. Individuals arrested or referred for charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.**
