DUBUQUE, IA – On Thursday, July 10, 2025, at approximately 5:24 PM CDT, 19-year-old Unekca Rayelle Smith was taken into custody by Officer B. Barbour at 3500 Dodge St, Dubuque, Iowa. This arrest resulted in multiple charges being filed against Smith, including 1) Assault-general (Misdemeanor), 2) Disorderly Conduct-fighting/violent Behavior (Misdemeanor), 3) Burglary 2nd Degree – Burglary/breaking and Entering (Felony), 4) Criminal Mischief 5th Degree (Misdemeanor), and 5) Criminal Mischief 4th Degree (Misdemeanor).
Law enforcement was dispatched to the location following reports of a disturbance, which escalated into claims of assault and unlawful entry.
