Reports indicate that 59-year-old Mark Feltmeyer, residing in Freeport, IL, was apprehended today. He is facing a series of charges, including Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle, Criminal Damage to Government Supported Property, Aggravated Fleeing and Attempting to Elude a Peace Officer, along with Resisting or Obstructing a Police Officer.
This sequence of events commenced on June 25, 2025, when officers from the Freeport Police Department responded to a report of a suspected stolen vehicle.
