DUBUQUE, Iowa – On June 9, 2025, Taylor Michael Lange, who resides in Dubuque, entered a guilty plea in the Iowa District Court, addressing several charges arising from incidents reported in late 2024. The case, designated as 01311 AGCR157196, was initiated in Dubuque County on October 21, 2024.

In total, Lange was confronted with five charges. The initial allegations included two counts of domestic abuse assault with the intent to inflict serious injury and one count of child endangerment, all of which were categorized as aggravated misdemeanors and recorded on October 20, 2024. Additionally, two counts of contempt for breaching a no-contact/protective order, dated November 18 and November 27, 2024, were also filed. Lange pled guilty to the second count of domestic abuse assault, classified as a second offense, along with both contempt charges.

The proceedings commenced with a criminal complaint lodged by the Dubuque Police Department on October 21, 2024, which detailed an incident where Lange struck a woman, resulting in a fracture to her facial bone. This led to Lange’s arrest and subsequent appearance before Judge Monica L. Zrinyi Ackley.

A no-contact order was promptly issued, and a cash bond of $7,500 was established during the bond review on October 23, 2024. On the same day, pre-trial release evaluation and discovery orders were also processed. Jonathan Michael Dunn served as Lange’s legal counsel throughout the proceedings.

According to court documents, Lange was sentenced to two years’ imprisonment by Judge Robert Richter.
