The Dubuque Regional Airport, located at 10965 Aviation Drive, in conjunction with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), will conduct a TSA PreCheck® enrollment event at the Capt. Robert L. Martin Terminal from Tuesday, July 22, through Friday, July 25.
Enrollment appointments will be available each day from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Airline Ticket Office #2 within the terminal. Individuals seeking to enroll are not required to possess a prior airline ticket to enter the enrollment center. The TSA highly recommends that potential applicants pre-enroll and schedule an appointment through the online portal at www.Identogo.com/precheck. Walk-in registrations will also be accepted based on the availability of space and staff. People are encouraged to register promptly, as appointment slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
“We frequently see high demand for our TSA PreCheck enrollment events, and we anticipate this one will fill up quickly as it marks our first event of 2025,” remarked Todd Dalsing, Airport Manager for Dubuque Regional Airport. “We have already received inquiries from many interested individuals inquiring about when the next opportunity to enroll will be.”
The typical duration for enrollment appointments is approximately ten minutes or less. Applicants are required to present documentation verifying their identity and citizenship status. Additionally, fingerprints will be taken, and a photo will be captured to facilitate the TSA background check process.
Travelers enrolled in TSA PreCheck® enjoy the convenience of expedited screening at over 200 airports nationwide. This allows them to keep their shoes, belts, and light jackets on during the screening process, and they can leave laptops and liquid toiletries in their carry-ons during security checks.
The application fee for TSA PreCheck® is $76.75, which secures a five-year membership. This fee must be paid at the enrollment center using a credit card, money order, company check, or a certified/cashier’s check; cash and personal checks are not permitted. Enrollees are required to bring documentation that establishes their identity and citizenship or legal residency status. Detailed documentation requirements can be found on the DHS trusted traveler comparison tool website. Fingerprinting is conducted as part of the background check.
Upon approval, applicants will receive a Known Traveler Number (KTN), accessible online approximately one week after the processing of their application. Passengers should enter their KTN when making airline reservations through a participating airline’s website, via phone call to the airline’s reservation center, or through their travel management provider.
