
DUBUQUE, IA – The City of Dubuque has announced its Asphalt Overlay Program for 2025, with scheduled street resurfacing projects set to take place from May through September. This initiative is designed to enhance road conditions and improve safety for motorists and pedestrians alike.
During the months of June and July, the resurfacing efforts will concentrate on Cornell St., Montrose Ter. (from Loras to W 16th), Fairview Pl. (between W 15th and W 16th), and extending Montrose to its dead end. In July, the work will shift to N Grandview Ave. (from Delhi St. to Kaufmann), Rosedale Ave., and St. Ambrose St. (from Clark Dr. to Asbury).
In August and September, the resurfacing will extend to Southgate Dr., Jenni St., Theisen St., Stetmore St., St. Joseph St., Cardiff St., Mazzuchelli St., Langworthy St., James St., Wooten St., and Clara Ct. Additional projects scheduled for September include Asbury Rd., Woodland St., Chippewa Dr., Karen St., Lindale St., Kevindale St., S. Grandview Ave., Carmel Dr., Julien Dubuque Dr., Twin Valley Dr., Southpark Ct., and Pinard St.
The main goal of this program is to significantly enhance road quality and ensure safer travel conditions for the residents of Dubuque.
