**PRAIRIE DU CHIEN, WI – A two-vehicle accident transpired on June 6, 2025, at around 3:01 p.m. on Hwy 18 near Fuller Hollow Rd in Patch Grove Township, leading to minor injuries and disruption of traffic.**
According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, Cameron Laack, 17, from Dickeyville, was operating a 2016 Chevy Express Van, heading west with passenger Ariana Hauck, 19, of Lancaster. Meanwhile, Abby Dye, 36, of Lancaster, was driving eastbound in her 2018 Chevy Tahoe, accompanied by a juvenile passenger.
Initial reports suggest that Laack’s van veered across the centerline, resulting in a head-on collision. Both vehicles subsequently spun out before coming to a halt on the road. All individuals involved were wearing seatbelts and suffered minor injuries; they were taken to nearby hospitals for evaluation. Airbags deployed in both vehicles, which incurred significant damage and were subsequently towed from the scene.
Emergency responders from West Grant EMS, Bagley First Responders, Gundersen Tri-State Ambulance, as well as the Bloomington and Patch Grove Fire Departments, along with Milo’s Towing, assisted at the location. The incident is still under investigation.
