Dubuque County Road Update: Completion of HMA Paved Shoulders Project on Holy Cross Rd

Dubuque County, IA – The construction of the Holy Cross Rd HMA Paved Shoulders project has been completed. Spanning 4.57 miles from New Vienna Rd to the City of Farley, the project wrapped up on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 8:00 PM. This undertaking commenced on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at 7:00 AM, and involved the paving of shoulders along Holy Cross Rd. Throughout the construction phase, the roadway remained open to traffic, thereby minimizing disruptions for motorists.
