**DUBUQUE, Iowa – On April 2, 2025, the Dubuque Police Department received a notification from the Iowa Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force regarding a case connected to suspected Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). This alert originated from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.**
**Investigators identified the suspect as a resident of Dubuque County who was employed at Hempstead High School. Following the notification, the Dubuque Community School District was informed, and the individual was placed on administrative leave. The ongoing investigation is examining computer-generated images involving students, alongside other forms of CSAM. Authorities are reaching out to affected students and their families, with intentions to identify and contact additional victims as the inquiry progresses. Due to the sensitive nature of the investigation, no further information is currently available, but updates will be provided upon its conclusion.**
