First responders were dispatched to the 7700 block of Bierman Road shortly after 10 p.m. to address a significant structure fire. Teams from the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office, Epworth Fire Department, Farley Fire Department, and Centralia Fire Department arrived on the scene to find a farm building fully engulfed in flames.
According to the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office, the damage to the building is estimated at around $450,000. This estimate also includes damage to tractors, farm equipment, and hay stored within the facility.
Investigators have concluded that the fire does not appear to be linked to any suspicious activity.
