PLATTEVILLE, WI — On June 4, 2025, at approximately 6:17 p.m., officers of the Platteville Police Department responded to an incident report of an altercation occurring at McGregor Plaza. Upon arrival, they found a male individual unconscious at the scene.
Emergency medical services from Southwest Health quickly transported the victim to a hospital in Madison for evaluation and treatment. Witnesses indicated that the situation escalated from a verbal dispute outside a local business involving the victim and another known male.
The police have designated this occurrence as an isolated incident, while the investigation into the details surrounding the confrontation is still ongoing.
