DUBUQUE, Iowa –
On June 5, 2025, at approximately 4:47 PM, the Dubuque Police Department was dispatched to the parking ramp located at 100 W. 4th St. in response to reports of a suspicious vehicle parked within the structure. Upon arrival, officers discovered an unresponsive adult male inside the vehicle. The deceased individual was subsequently removed and transported to the Iowa Office of the State Medical Examiner for an autopsy. Preliminary investigations indicated that the vehicle had been stationary for an extended period, and no immediate threat to the public has been identified. This case is currently under the jurisdiction of the Dubuque Police Criminal Investigation Division, which is continuing its investigation.
