DUBUQUE COUNTY, Iowa — On Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at 7:00 a.m., a paving project will begin on Holy Cross Rd, adding new asphalt shoulders along a 4.57-mile stretch from New Vienna Rd to the City of Farley. The project will be executed by River City Paving and is anticipated to take 2-4 weeks, depending on weather conditions.
Throughout the project, Holy Cross Rd will remain accessible but will be reduced to one lane during daytime hours. Flaggers will be present to guide traffic. Motorists should be prepared for delays, adhere to posted signage, and exercise caution when passing through the work zone.
