David Steil 48, of Colesburg Iowa, stole tools from Ehrlich Construction on Highway 52 in March 2021.
Steil took a plea deal and was sentenced to one year in a residential facility until he reaches maximum benefits, and 5 years probation in Dubuque, Iowa District Court for third-degree theft and third-degree attempted burglary.
